Fighting First Productions is a WWII living history and cinematography group dedicated to honoring veterans especially the WWII generation. This year, in partnership with the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 236, Fighting First Productions is proud to host the Bataan Death March Memorial Walk. This year also marks the 75th Anniversary of the Bataan Death March on April 9th 2017. The Memorial Walk will start at Palmer Park Janesville, WI and end at Jones Dairy Park in Fort Atkinson, WI. This 20-mile walk will give each participant a chance to experience one third of the real death march’s distance like what POW's had to endure in 1942. A 10-mile walk is also available to participants. Luckily, the route of the Memorial Walk follows the ever so popular Wisconsin Ice Age Trail and Bike Path for a convenient, fun, yet challenging experience. Civilian and military (retirees) are all welcome to enter as proceeds will be donated to American Ex-prisoners of War.
Shuttle services from the end points to the beginning are available.
